Schedule distribution of Perishable Department products to all WIC Food Centers and some other Catholic Charities programs. Review produces orders to ensure proper quantities are ordered for individual sites. Examine invoices to be sure charges are appropriately applied and invoices are accurate for payment for all WIC Food Centers and Warehouse before submitting them to finance for payment. Batching and logging invoices to data spreadsheets accurately and efficiently. Verify incoming returns and damages for accuracy. Keeps accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made. Provide an account of the inventory status to Inventory Manager for purchasing and inventory control purposes. Perform regulatory maintenance reports and functioning for the Perishables Department truck fleet. Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory. Maintain an accurate and up-to-date list of vendors and vendor contact information. Maintains inventory system; upgrades to related database and/or software under the direction of the Perishable Site Director.
Assist Perishables
Aid with maintaining consistent inventory stock, ordering new stock up to pre-authorized limits as inventory dwindles. Assist with racking damaged product credits so that they are appropriately applied to the agency. Assist with monthly inventory audits. Responsible for establishing backup sources for high-demand items and assessing inventory reports and order patterns to identify objects needing automatic, recurring delivery. Maintains up-to-date and accurate inventory reports, as agency/programmatic policies and procedures require. Upholds professional standards and external requirements of all relevant regulatory, licensing, or accrediting bodies while performing job expectations. Responsible for maintaining, updating, and submitting routine and ad-hoc reports.
