Coordinator for social project to help women and children in the Andes of Peru

Our organization is a project of social volunteering and cultural exchange that works with populations that live in extreme poverty and are subject to economic and cultural exclusion, in the Peruvian Andes, we develop our social work directly, we have several projects related to human rights, health , gender equity, educational support for children at risk, ecology, empowerment of women and improvement of the living conditions of Quechua immigrants and their families.

We are a small organization that works with its own projects directly in peasant communities and populations in extreme poverty in a self-financed way, due to the various challenges of the recent pandemic since we stopped receiving the help and flow of resources that the volunteers gave us, we need new economic resources to keep our organization alive and continue our social work here in Peru, you are sure that you will contribute with your effort in a social cause in places where it is most needed to give help to many native people in extreme poverty and internal immigrants in vulnerable situations and risk.

Responsibilities:

• Search and contact of new sources of financing.
• Drafting of project and activity proposals.
• Communication and relationship building with current and potential donors.
•  Schedule, prepare, coordinate and attend various meetings and events.
• carry out campaigns or activities (practical or online) to obtain funds
•  Prioritize activities in the best interest of the team when working on joint projects.
• Assist in administrative tasks
• Present a practical plan of your work as a fundraiser, this includes fundraising methods, media and general processes.
• Our organization is in the process of having this new front for raising resources and funds, therefore, we ask you to provide experience and initiative in this regard.

Requirements:

• be at least 21 years old
• committed to social and humanitarian causes
• ease and possibility of handling payment and collection methods in international environments (please check if your nationality matches the eligibility criteria on the well-known fundraising pages)
• Preferably with fluid communication in English and human interaction,
• Although it is valued to have some experience in the fundraising area, but if not, you can also apply for the position as long as you have the energy and positivity to get started with basic fundraising campaigns.
• we need practical people who value and start working from below, building social and work relationships that will increase over time and will be adequately rewarded.
• Native English speaker. (preferably)
•  It would be ideal to have some level of Spanish, (optional)
• Openly share new ideas and information with the team.
