The County of San Diego Office of Sustainability and Environmental Justice, a newly formed Department has an exciting opportunity for a motivated, team-oriented, curious, and inclusive individual to join us as Regional Decarbonization Framework Group Program Manager.
The RDF Group Program Manager will work with the RDF Program Manager, in close collaboration with communities and other jurisdictions, to co-create practical yet bold initiatives for reducing operational and embodied carbon and optimizing carbon sequestration.
In this role, you will discover and uplift communities’ decarbonization priorities and develop
partnerships to tailor sustainability solutions that respond to our region’s unique cultures and senses of place. You will help facilitate systems change that moves the entire San Diego region to zero carbon emissions by mid‐century. Most importantly, you will enjoy playing an active role within a tight-knit, innovative, compassionate, and dedicated team.
This is an unclassified management-level position that will have a hybrid teleworking schedule, with a combination of in-office and teleworking days.
