Position Summary:

Provides administrative support to the Office of the President and Executive Director of Board Relations. Opportunity to work cross-organizationally, including liaising with senior professional team and members of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee as well as significant donors.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Calendar management for senior leadership bodies: Board of Directors, Executive Committee, President’s Advisory, and other meetings as necessary
  • Calendar management for President of the Board, including UJA and non-UJA events, briefings, donor meetings, etc.
  • Management of correspondence for President, including donor acknowledgement letters, condolence notes, event honoree congratulations notes
  • Assistance with Board member stewardship and governance, including Board nominating process
  • Assistance with meeting planning and execution, including room reservations, meeting set-up and clean-up, assembling packets and meeting material, attendance entry, etc.
  • Database Management, including managing membership and attendance for the Board Directors, Executive Committee and President’s Advisory Council
  • Expense report and file management
  • Special projects as assigned

Skills/Experience:

  • Highly detail oriented
  • Superior organizational and administrative skills
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work well with cross organizationally and with various stake holders
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and writing skills
  • Professional presence, comfortable interacting with senior volunteer leaders and significant donors
  • Computer proficiency in MS Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Bachelors degree required and minimum 2 years related experience

Salary Information:

The salary for this role is $50,000.
