Role Summary: The Clinical Services Director will ensure that we exceed expectations, identify and remove barriers, and maintain quality standards. Accountable for ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements, overseeing programs and clinical operations, providing leadership for staff, and ensuring the delivery of high quality, evidence-based, compassionate, patient-centered healthcare, the Clinical Services Director will work primarily administratively, yet with an expectation to provide direct patient care when it will benefit the mission.
The Clinical Services Director will serve as HealthQ’s Program Director for the MDPH Sexual & Reproductive Health Program, Quality and Risk Management Officer, and Compliance and Privacy Officer.
A key member of the leadership team, the Clinical Services Director will be responsible for licensed staff recruitment, retention, supervision, peer review and performance feedback ensuring achievement of strategic, clinical and operational objectives.
In addition to having experience delivering sexual and reproductive health services and quality compliance in a regulated environment, strong project management and education or mentoring skills, the ideal candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to centering equity, reproductive and social justice, and liberation with a willingness to contribute towards HealthQ’s efforts in becoming an anti-racist organization. They’ll create opportunities for everyone in the organization to participate in the development and implementation of projects that create a healthy and safe work environment, reduce unconscious bias, close health equity gaps, and improve patient experience and overall systems of care for patients who historically and currently experience disparities in care.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel between different HealthQ health centers on an as-needed basis. Travel to health centers that are not the employee’s primary location will be reimbursed in accordance with HealthQ travel policies.
