Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support across various functions including donor management stewardship, data management and grant reporting, correspondence, newsletters, and fundraising.
- Assist in the coordination of community outreach efforts, sponsor and fundraising events, volunteer planning committees and annual fall fundraiser.
- Collaborate with the Family Justice Center staff to facilitate existing programs and develop new initiatives aimed at supporting victims of domestic violence and their children.
- Interact with board members, business/community groups, and individual supporters as needed to advance the Foundation's objectives.
- Maintain and update shared files, ensuring efficient organization and accessibility of essential documents.
- Utilize social media platforms to enhance the Foundation's online presence and engagement with stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and efficiently manage workload.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional writing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively correspond and interact with Board members, community partners, donors, and volunteers.
- Proficiency in utilizing shared files and familiarity with various social media platforms.
- Regular weekly check-ins and progress updates with the Director and/or President are required.
- Access to a computer for remote work and administrative tasks.
The Program Assistant will be an integral part of the MCFJC Foundation’s small team, contributing to the successful fundraising and implementation of its programs and initiatives aimed at promoting justice and support for victims of domestic violence.
