OPPORTUNITY: Middle School Social Studies Classroom Teacher/Fellow (High Level of Proficiency, Certified English Speaker required.)

We have an English Middle School, Social Studies, classroom teaching position for our 2024 school year at Colegio Americano del Sur (CAS). Our school year runs from January 4th to November 4th, 2024. We have started our 2024 school year, however, would accept any interested person who could start immediately or by mid-year. Candidates must be English L1 or have a high level of English proficiency and be certified. This position entails teaching Social Studies to 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students. It also includes sharing knowledge with the fourth and 5th-grade social studies class once a week. Everyone is involved with extra-curricular activities and choices can be made from a list one would feel more comfortable in taking on. There is an opportunity to engage in self-interest areas that can be shared with both the team and our students.
