Description

As Middle School Program Manager (Manhattan) you will work closely with NYC middle schoolers and their families in leading the first two years of their path as BTNY students and ensuring their placement into top high schools.

Responsibilities:

  • Work onsite at the BTNY Manhattan middle school site along with tutors and a Program Assistant (high school students)
  • Manage seasonal staff and lead School Year and Summer programming at your site. Ensure that your site achieves organizational goals of over 85% of:
  • Middle school students meet accountability expectations
  • Rising 9th grade students matriculate to college-prep high schools
  • Seasonal staff reporting professional growth and role satisfaction 
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Director on intern recruitment, selection, and training of your site’s seasonal staff (examples: School Year Tutors, Summer Teaching Fellows, Summer Instructional Coaches, etc.)
  • Support the High School Placement Director on 8th grade students’ applications to college-prep high schools
  • Lead relationship with host site, and site vendors/service providers, and families
  • Participate in the annual recruitment and selection of incoming class of BTNY students
  • Manage site-wide data collection and evaluation systems
  • Other duties as assigned

We're Looking for Someone Who:

  • Can demonstrate experience and results with similar responsibilities to those listed above
  • Has a Bachelor’s degree (If you haven’t noticed, a 4-year college education is important to us!)
  • Is confident with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint in particular), Google Suite, and comfortable learning new systems; experience using Salesforce is a plus
  • Demonstrates excellence in BTNY’s Core Values

Compensation

BTNY strongly believes in selecting the top, qualified candidates. As a part of your offer you can expect to receive the following:

 The annual starting salary range is between $63,000 and $73,000 (commensurate with experience and skills). Salary is reviewed annually and adjusted for cost of living and performance.
