JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Tenant Coordination Associate will report to the Vice President of Tenant Coordination. In this role, the Tenant Coordination Associate will be responsible for supporting the work of the Vice President and the Tenant Coordination team.

The Tenant Coordination Associate, an administrative position, will play a key role as the point of contact for new tenant referrals, and will work closely with the Vice President, and other mangers, to ensure that new participants are assigned to the Tenant Coordination Specialists as quickly as possible, and for ensuring that required data entry is timely and complete.

This position is essential to maintaining the smooth workflow of the day to day operations of the Tenant Coordination department.

Key responsibilities include the ability to:

  • Assist the Vice President of Tenant Coordination with maintaining the smooth operation of the department;
  • Enter documentation, and other data, into the Anthos|Home Salesforce case management system;Documentation and data entry must be thorough and accurate;
  • Confidentiality of participant, staff and organizational information must be maintained at all times
  • Liaise between agencies making tenant referrals and the Vice President, as needed;
  • Respond to inquiries and questions about Anthos|Home and agency procedures and protocols;
  • Assist in scheduling meetings as needed;
  • Attend meetings and take notes or minutes, and
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

The Tenant Coordination Associate must be a people person who loves working with others and solving problems. Associate’s degree and/or 2+ years’ experience in an administrative position or something similar. Experience working with people in the housing and human service sector preferred.

Additional Skills include:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Willingness to occasionally travel around New York City to pick up keys, checks, or other documents;
  • Familiarity with the NYC housing market and voucher system a plus;
  • Ability to use public transportation, or meet the same travel requirements with reasonable accommodation;
  • Ability to ascend/descend stairs, as some work locations may not have accessibility to an elevator, or meet the same requirements with reasonable accommodation;
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Salesforce;
  • Passion for the mission of the organization, and
  • Ability to work in a diverse environment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Competitive Pay: $55,000 - $57,000 starting salary (dependent on experience)
  • WFH/Hybrid work: 3-5 days in office or in the field
