The Bridge Fund of New York City seeks a bright and highly motivated individual to work full-time as an Associate Program Director, Income Growth Program. Our office is located near Herald Square in Manhattan and accepts client-referrals from numerous agencies serving all five boroughs of New York City.

Responsibilities include:

·        Recruiting clients for our Income Growth Program

·        Conducting educational and vocational assessments

·        Providing career advisement, resume help, job-search help and more

·        Making expert client referrals to colleges and job training programs

·        Providing individual budget counseling

·        Assessing clients for our financial assistance, plus outside benefits

·        Monitoring clients and documenting their progress in achieving career goals

·        Writing monthly program reports

·        Maintaining a resume bank

·        Developing a resource base of industry specific job training, job-readiness, and adult education programs

·        Cultivating community relationships that further the interests of The Bridge Fund

·        Assisting with special projects, as needed

The successful job candidate should have at least three years of experience providing direct client services, preferably in the workforce development or human resources field. He/she must have strong organizational and critical thinking skills, plus excellent communication skills (both verbal and writing). A bachelor’s degree is required (a master's preferred), as well as working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and the internet.  Fluency in Spanish is helpful.

Salary Range: $65,000- $85,000 annually. This is an estimated Salary Range and is based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to experience, skill set and completed education.
