Role Overview: Reporting to the Executive Director, the Grants Manager participates in a comprehensive fundraising program for Pony Power Therapies’ program services, education programs, community engagement initiatives, and special projects. Responsibilities include identifying funding opportunities, managing the writing and application process in its entirety for all grants, communicating directly with internal representatives and potential grantors to discuss grant opportunities, and preparation of grant proposals, applications, reports, budgets and correspondence.

Pony Power connects people with disabilities or life challenges to the wonders of horses, farming and nature. Located on a fully accessible 13-acre farm in Mahwah, New Jersey, we are Bergen County’s only facility that provides horse-assisted activities for people who need extra support. Pony Power also offers nature-based activities, both as stand-alone programs and as a complement to activities with horses.
