Fair Election Center’s Campus Vote Project (CVP) was launched in 2012 to expand our work on student voting issues. We work with universities, community colleges, faculty, students, and election officials to reduce barriers to student voting. CVP helps campuses institutionalize reforms that empower students with the information they need to register and vote. Campus Vote Project Deputy State Coordinators has four main areas of focus: institutionalizing voter engagement, providing up-to-date election information, and developing student leaders:
Position Description
Fair Elections Center’s Campus Vote Project seeks a Georgia Deputy State Coordinator. Deputy State Coordinators are key members of our team. They are charged with working with the Georgia State Coordinator with the Democracy Fellowship and the planning of state summits in Georgia. Deputy State Coordinators work to recruit and support campuses in the Voter Friendly Campus program. They also assist in recruiting and supervising “Democracy Fellows,” student positions committed to carrying out democratic engagement programs at their colleges or universities. Democracy Fellows coordinate with administration and faculty, helping organize student voter registration, voter education, and voter turnout activities.
The ideal candidate has a passion for voting rights with a particular interest in helping college students access our democracy, is committed to building relationships, and has knowledge of voting rules and regulations.

The position is a remote full-time temporary position from June 3, 2024 through December 31, 2024. Salary is $4,333.33/month with limited benefits including vacation and sick leave and cell phone and internet stipends.
