Strong Roots Foundation

The Strong Root Foundation offers Montessori education and nutritional meals to young vulnerable street children in Kathmandu free of charge. We are looking for home based volunteers to manage our website, promote Strong Roots through social media and lead on the development of sustainable fundraising initiatives. We also very much welcome international volunteers at our slum school in Kathmandu. Volunteers who are able to come and help out in Balkhu slum in Kathmandu could help get children ready for school, teach them various subjects, help the children with their homework, organise excursions, play games with the children, organise performing arts sessions or support the school in some other way, depending on their skill set and interests.
