RESEARCH INSTITUTE FOR DEVELOPMENT
RIDEV was created in 1999 by a group of four social entrepreneurs. The 90s were marked in sub Saharan Africa in general and Cameroon in particular by a socio-economic and political crisis that has resulted in widespread impoverishment of the population. The state was no longer able to perform its sovereign functions such as providing health care, education, access to potable water, etc .. Moreover, corruption became a serious issue.

- Promote good governance in the management of publics affairs at the local, regional and national level.
- Connect people at the grassroots level with the resource they need to improve their living conditions.
- Empower youth and women to become key actors in the development process.
