About Us

Founded in 1992, the Koreatown Immigrant Workers Alliance (KIWA) is a multiracial worker center committed to social and economic justice through organizing, grassroots leadership development, policy advocacy, services, and cultural resistance. KIWA builds the power of low-wage immigrant workers for workplace justice, housing rights, immigrants' rights, community-led development, civic participation, and green space. We are located in Koreatown, Los Angeles, and our base is predominantly Latinx and Korean immigrant workers and families.
