About Us

Green Card Voices records and shares first person narratives of American immigrants to foster tolerance and establish a better understanding between the immigrant and non-immigrant populations. Our dynamic multi media platform is designed to empower a variety of educational institutions, community groups and individuals alike to acquire first-person perspective about immigrants' lives, increasing the appreciation of the immigrant experience in America.

We're traveling the country and listening to those with the courage to share their journey, documenting each story in an authentic and unbiased way. The chronicles of those whose stories we capture are both awe-inspiring and thought provoking, portraying the diversity of the immigrant experience in the United States. Our organization has grown in the past five years from digital storytelling to publishing books. Today, we have recorded over 350 stories, all of which are available on our website and on youtube. We also have four books of youth stories (immigration stories from American High Schools) and one book of entrepreneur stories from Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Immigrants have played a vital role at each turn in our nation's history, and they continue to do so today. By sharing these stories, we can instill a sense of pride in our nation's immigrant population and empower them to raise their voice and speak for themselves, about themselves.
