Texas Conservation Corps

About Us

Texas Conservation Corps (TxCC) at American YouthWorks empowers the lives of youth and young adults through conservation education, service, jobs training, and emergency response. Hands-on, skills based projects put program participants in front of the regional environmental and disaster problems and asks them to be the solution. As a powerful regional resource, the program is known not only for conservation and disaster services, but also for program alumni, who leave the program trained and ready to become the next leaders in these important fields. TxCC is a federally-designated 21st Century Conservation Service Corps program as well as a member of the Corps Network, the Mountain Alliance of Conservation Corps, and an AmeriCorps grantee of the OneStar Foundation, Texas' State Service Commission.
