  • About Us

    Our aims are to:

    • educate the community, especially the youth, about the marine environment and the need for its conservation and protection
    • assist organisations responsible for marine law enforcement and marine research
    • undertake our own independent research

Volunteers will get the opportunity to learn about the marine environment and the animals we encounter, get up close with wild whales, dolphins, penguins and other animals, assist in various research projects including vital research on the declining African penguin population, gain hands on experience working with Raggy Charters staff on marine eco-tours, including tour guiding, boat maintenance, administrative work, marketing and data collection/input.
