“PortSide NewYork is a living lab for better urban waterways. PortSide brings WaterStories to life.”
PortSide is an innovative venue aboard the historic ship MARY A. WHALEN and an impact organization that presents a new vision for revitalizing NYC’s waterfront with more community benefits and engagement. We are located in Red Hook, Brooklyn and balance a hyperlocal relationship to Red Hook and programs that attract a citywide audience and tourists. We create diverse interdisciplinary programs linked by our WaterStories theme. In 2018, we are working on a new business plan to expand into building space alongside the ship.
