Career Gear

Career Gear is a multidimensional nonprofit serving the needs of its participants through three distinct programs. Our mission is to build strong families and communities that empower low-income men to overcome barriers and achieve self-sufficiency. We work in partnership with job-training programs and community based organizations in New York City to provide low cost, high impact solutions that compliment community based organizations. To date, Career Gear has helped over 50,000 low income men move from poverty to self-sufficiency.
