Child Family Health International (CFHI)
"Transformative Global Health Education & Community Empowerment"Child Family Health International (CFHI) is a United Nations-recognized organization providing community-based Global Health Education Programs for health science students and institutions. Our unique model fosters reciprocal partnerships and empowerment in local communities-- transforming perspectives about self, healing and global citizenship. Currently, we offer over 30 programs in 10 countries (Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador, India, Mexico, South Africa, Uganda, Ghana, Tanzania and the Philippines). Since 1992, we've sent over 8,000 participants on our programs. We also support locally-driven community health initiatives in the communities in which we work.
