The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD), based in Radnor, PA, seeks applicants to fill the critical position of office manager. Established in 2002, AFTD is a globally recognized nonprofit devoted to curing and preventing frontotemporal degeneration, the most common dementia for people under age 60, as well as to improving the quality of life for those affected. Established in 2009, AFTD has grown rapidly to a staff of over fifteen, with a robust board of directors, highly respected medical advisory council, and national network of volunteers. The organization provides support to thousands of patients and caregivers through various programs and information while directing over half of its $6M+ budget toward grants that drive scientific research in the understanding, diagnosis and treatment of FTD.
