About Us

Over the last year many of my friends began to suggest that I use my writing skills and inventory to begin my own communications company about Thought Leaders and Global Citizens - called the Jim Luce Stewardship Report (JLSR). We announced this at my 50th birthday party on July 24, 2009. Our theme is “Connecting Goodness.” Here, my friends from around the world will cover all the topics I have come to care about under five main categories, Faces, Issues, World Affairs, Lifestyle, and Arts. We are expressing ourselves with traditional stories, as well as with photography and video.

Our corporate mission is about engaging the world to improve it. It is about bettering ourselves so that we can do more to better humanity. It is accepting the responsibility we have as human beings -- Buddhist, Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, Humanist, or None of the Above -- to actively help better the world. My Jewish friends call it tikum olem. Christians, the Social Gospel. Muslims, helping the unfortunate - a key tenet of Islam.

For me, this has meant helping orphaned children in the developing world. My passion. Your focus might be the environment, women's issues, gay rights. This site is for you . It is for all of us who care, and who are frustrated that we do not know how best to make a difference. We can collectively heal the world. This site will feature ways to do that. Help us do that. The Jim Luce Stewardship Report focuses on Global Citizenry, Corporate Citizenry, Arts Appreciation, Legacy & Self Sustainability Innovation & Leadership, Seeking Social Justice, Diversity, Independence, Interfaith, Transparency & Efficiencies, Advocating Human Rights, Positive & Tolerant, and Countering Intolerance. The Facebook page for contributors and friends to communicate is at http://tiny.cc/StewardshipReport.
