We will be focusing on one specific program at the Idealist fair - The MS in Bioethics - there are three tracks to choose from Clinical, Research and Bioethics Policy.
The Bioethics Program is a joint program offered between Union Graduate College and the Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
From our website: The Bioethics Program is competency-based and interdisciplinary. It acknowledges that bioethical decisions must be rooted in precedent and best practices and must reflect the broadest range of perspectives-from medical and legal to philosophical and religious. It prepares graduates for one of the following depending on the track chosen:
1) Clinical Ethics: Sit on a hospital Ethics Committee
2) Research Ethics: Participate on an IRB for research decision making
3) Bioethics Policy: Particpate in healthcare policy making
