Go to: www.redcross.org/volunteer

1. - CREATE A RED CROSS ID

Navigate your web browser to RedCross.Org/Volunteer. Click on "Apply Now.”  Complete the required fields to create

your Red Cross ID

2 - CONFIRM YOUR ACCOUNT

Fill in your contact information and click "Continue to Verify Contact Info" at the bottom of the page.  Choose how you would like to receive your confirmation code: via text or

email and click "Send Me the Code".  Enter this code on the next screen.

3 - POLICY AGREEMENT

Click on each of the four links to the documents to read and agree to Red Cross Policies. After you

complete this step, click the red “Continue to Background Check” button.

4 - BACKGROUND CHECK

Upload a picture of your valid ID by clicking on the link to Upload and select the file from your device. Click the red “Continue to Background Check” button. Check and click on the links

to read the required consent form.  Click the red “Authorize Background Check” button.

Enter your Social Security Number in the box that appears, then click "Finish".  You will be brought to the home screen.
