Overview of Way Club
The Way Club is a faith-based social club for teenagers in high school, serving the Greater Philadelphia area. Our mission is to cultivate spaces for teens who desire to be more through fun, exposure, and accountability. We inspire teenagers to get the most out of life and have fun while doing it!
Volunteers are the heartbeat of our organization, playing a crucial role in fulfilling our mission! Without the dedication, passion, and hard work of our volunteers, we wouldn't be able to create the transformative experiences and supportive community that empower young people to thrive. We are deeply grateful for the invaluable contributions of each and every volunteer who generously gives their time, talents, and energy to make a difference in the lives of teenagers in the Greater Philadelphia area.
Responsibilities:
1. Recruiting New Members: Actively engage with high school students to promote membership in The Way Club. Utilize creative strategies to attract and retain new members who align with our mission and values.
2. Organizing Member Events: Plan and execute 2-3 events per month for current club members. Events may include social gatherings, community service projects, educational workshops, and spiritual enrichment activities.
3. Promoting on Social Media: Manage and maintain The Way Club's presence on social media platforms, with a focus on Instagram and TikTok. Create engaging content to showcase club activities, attract new members, and foster a sense of community among current members.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Time Commitment:
Approximately 5 hours per week, including event planning, social media management, and attending club events. Member events typically occur in the evenings during the week or on Saturdays.
