About Young STEAMers:

Young STEAMers is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) enrichment classes to children from underserved families. Our mission is to inspire and empower young minds, fostering a love for learning and creativity.

Position Overview:

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Multimedia Content Creator Volunteers. As a Multimedia Content Creator, you will play a crucial role in capturing the excitement and educational moments during our STEAM lessons through photography and videography. Your creative skills will help us showcase the impact of our programs and promote awareness of our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend Young STEAMers classes and events to capture high-quality photos and videos.
• Collaborate with instructors and students to document engaging and educational activities.
• Ensure that the content aligns with the organization's values and mission.
• Provide input and ideas for enhancing the visual representation of Young STEAMers.

Qualifications:

• Passion for education and STEAM subjects.
• Experience in photography and videography (owning a camera and a tripod is a plus).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Creativity and an eye for capturing impactful moments.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

Time Commitment:

• Flexible, part-time commitment based on your availability.
• Attendance at Young STEAMers classes and events (schedule to be coordinated with volunteers).
