Skilled and Experienced Grant Writer

Are you passionate about education and empowering young minds? Do you have experience in grant writing?

Young STEAMers, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) education to kids from underserved families, is seeking a dedicated volunteer grant writer to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Research and identify potential grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
• Write compelling grant proposals and applications tailored to the requirements of each funding opportunity.
• Collaborate with our team to gather relevant information and data to support grant proposals.
• Maintain accurate records of grant applications, deadlines, and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Strong writing skills with the ability to craft clear, concise, and persuasive grant proposals.
• Experience in grant writing
• Excellent research skills to identify potential funding sources and grant opportunities.
• Passion for education, particularly in the STEAM fields, and a commitment to our organization's mission and values.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
