Description

NOAH is seeking a dedicated Volunteer to help us grow our social media and online presence.  The role will have a wide range of responsibilities, including:

  • Developing effective social media campaigns & website projects
  • Measuring and analyzing online engagement and utilizing these findings to increase our online reach
  • Documenting and publicizing NOAH’s efforts to ensure we are reaching our target audience to the best of our ability
  • Helping with fundraising outreach and campaigns

 

This volunteer opportunity offers a valuable breadth and depth of experience relevant to both the non-profit and for-profit sectors. The work done at NOAH is a crucial service to the community, and by volunteering here you will be providing support for programs that help disadvantaged children and youth, keep families in their homes or find new affordable homes, teach new immigrants English to increase their employment prospects, and promote environmental restoration in East Boston.

 

Qualifications:

  • Critical thinking and strategic planning skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience either in social media, websites, and copy writing
  • Spanish is a plus but not necessary to apply


The volunteer must commit a minimum of 15 hours per week. Hours are flexible and NOAH works to accommodate the travel and scheduling needs of its student interns, including those related to school breaks
