Environment and Marine Conservation

The volunteer will be working in Environmental Conservation organization in rural and urban areas. His/her duties will include:-

• Involved in educating local fishermen on Marine life conservation and eco system,
• Involved in teaching people on importance of National Heritage Preservation,compilation, collection and documentation of historical data,
• Assist in administrative work e.t.c.

Volunteers with experience in Environmental knowledge especially (Marine Life), experience in Cultural and Sociology studies ( African Culture) are required Volunteers with experience in Heritage preservation are required

Volunteers with experience and knowledge in Environmental issues, Marine conservationist, Biologists are required

Knowledge of English is compulsory

We encourage groups of volunteers to apply. The Project location is in Kwale/Mombasa/ Malindi

Work is 6 - 8 hours a day, weekends are free. Accommodation provided with a selected host family, transport from Nairobi to the location by public transport, Airport pick up is provided upon request.

Orientation will be done at Pamoja Office to explain to the volunteer to inform about Kenya, work, location, what is expected of you or what you expect from the institution and or community and all payments including commitment and program fee will be paid in the offices during orientation

Minimum duration 1 month and maximum 6 months
