Financial Freedom Center Facilitators

Are you passionate about providing access and opportunity to Financial Literacy Training for your community?

We are currently recruiting for Volunteer Financial Freedom Facilitators to support our Family Services team, and provide access to FREE financial literacy courses for our community!

The Financial Freedom Facilitator position leads financial literacy courses at our Financial Freedom Center located at 780C Windsor Street in Hartford. Courses are typically held in the Spring and Fall, and workshops will take place during weekday evening hours. These courses support Habitat Homeowners in their journey through homeownership and are also open to the general public!

Our team will provide training on a set curriculum of courses, including;

- Planning and Paying Utility Costs

- Your Spending, Your Savings, Your Future

- Financial Aid for College Students

- 40 Money Management Tips

- Budgeting to Reduce Debt

- Understanding & Improving Your Credit

- Saving Through Tax Refunds
