Description

We are seeking a full-time AmeriCorps Economic Mobility Corps. (EMC) member to serve as a Data and Learning Specialist with Inclusiv. We are recruiting a full-time AmeriCorps EMC member to be a part of our team for 12 months. The position will remain open until filled. The exact start and end date of the contract position is confirmed by the Member Agreement of Participation that will require signature prior to the start of service. This position is made possible through a partnership between Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) AmeriCorps and Inclusiv. This is an AmeriCorps position and the individual selected to serve is not considered to be an employee of Inclusiv or LISC.

About the role: 

Inclusiv is seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic Data and Learning Specialist to join our Inclusiv team. The Data and Learning Specialist will be dedicated to supporting the development and implementation of new and existing capacity building and training services and programs to support the delivery of financial empowerment services by Community Development Credit Unions. Additionally, the Data and Learning Specialist will play an important role in scaling up Inclusiv’s ability to collect and analyze data to measure the impact of Inclusiv’s products and services, and test new ideas for improving the quality and uptake of the products and services which may include contributing to new marketing materials and outreach efforts. This individual will also support day to day communication with Community Development Credit Unions related to onboarding and registration for training and learning events, certificates of completion and learner satisfaction surveys. 

A successful candidate will be able to work efficiently in a team and independently, as well as be able to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

Location: This position is based in the Atlanta (GA) Metro area

Responsibilities: 

• Support the ongoing management of Inclusiv’s Learning Management System including contributing to the development of content, uploading content, monitoring user submissions, chats and calendars. 

• Using Inclusiv's current Learning Management system, generate and analyze reports on member engagement, course completion and learning outcomes

• Provide technical help to users, including troubleshooting login issues, course registration and navigation

• Conduct outreach to CDCUs related to Inclusiv's learning programs and opportunities

• Support the communication and coordination of meetings, convenings and trainings with CDCUS on topics of financial empowerment 

• Create regular and adhoc reports from diverse platforms such as Salesforce, Constant Contact, Google analytics, LMS systems

• Support change management efforts across the organization as systems and processes evolve

Qualifications

• GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience

• 1-2 years of relevant work, education or demonstrable experience in outreach and marketing, organizing public events, or community development 

• Ability to work well in teams as well as independently.

• Highly organized with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at once and prioritize tasks.

• Demonstrated ability to establish and build relationships with a diverse array of people and organizations. 

• General knowledge or experience using data and communication systems such as Salesforce, Constant Contact, or Google analytics, or ability and willingness to learn

• General knowledge in using Microsoft Office applications, proficiency preferred. 

PROGRAM BENEFITS

• The position pays a total stipend of $30,200; the stipend is taxable and paid in 24 equal checks twice a month from LISC. Direct deposit is required.

Upon successful completion of the full term of service, the Member will be eligible for a $6,895.00 education award to pay off existing, eligible student loans or utilize the funds to return to school at institutions that accept the education award.

• Members are eligible to place qualifying, existing student loans (not in default) into AmeriCorps forbearance or apply for income-based repayment. Certified time in AmeriCorps service may be counted toward public service loan forgiveness.

• A bronze-level health care benefit is available for the participant only; LISC covers 100% of the premium costs directly to the insurance provider.

• For members with children under the age of 13, there is a childcare subsidy benefit available which is dependent on the participant meeting all eligibility requirements (This benefit is administered by a contracted provider via the AmeriCorps Agency).
