Help people with aphasia get free speech therapy

We are looking for someone to reach out to the University Directors each semester to  place graduate students with IAM. This would be a good assignment for a willing retiree.  We have all the contacts and sample emails that the person would have to send but there is always a lot of back and forth at the beginning of each semester.

This administrative task is a very important so that we can continue to offer free online speech therapy to people with aphasia. It also gives graduate students much needed experience in working with aphasia.

International Aphasia Movement is a nonprofit organization. We currently have 10 groups online, and offer therapy in English, Spanish, Mandarin and Cantonese. We need 10-20 students (1-2 students per group) each semester for fall, spring and summer semesters. We are looking for someone who is willing to contact university graduate programs for potential speech pathology students, verify that the students are actually available, and assign the students to the speech pathology supervisors. This process can be done entirely online and on your own schedule. The job requires someone who is organized and proactive.
