Human Resource Associate for Non Profit

Women in Ethics and Compliance (WEC) is a non-profit organization designed to focus on women by women, a safe space for women to learn leadership skills, network, grow in professional development and build friendships with fellow attorneys, paralegals, investigators, fraud specialists, ethics and compliance officers, and any that wants to learn more about combating financial crimes while supporting mental health awareness and gender equality.

The culture of WEC is an informal laid-back environment where volunteers carry out effective organizational work remotely. We are looking for persons with self-motivation and passion for the non-profit sector.

**Having a compliance and ethics background is NOT a requirement.

HR Associate is a Volunteer Position

The Human Resources Associate will be responsible for supporting a variety of Human Resources functions for the organization, including onboarding, and HR document retention

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Process new volunteer documentation (Background Screenings, etc)
• Conduct Orientation, manage the onboarding process, file and maintain documents
• Collaborates with team leads to identify accurate job descriptions and task criteria.

Required

Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• At least 1 year of HR experience is highly preferred but not required
• Familiarity with HR policies and practices is preferred but not required
• Self-Starter, Proactive, and independent with the ability to take initiative.
• Excellent time management skills
