Description

Our Habitat Snohomish Lynnwood Store is looking for volunteers to fill our new Commercial Inventory Clerk volunteer role.


Volunteer Need: 2 volunteers who can commit to a set weekly schedule.

Schedule: 2 days a week per volunteer. (Our stores are open Tuesday - Saturday, 10 am - 5 pm. Shift information is shared below.)

Training period: 1 4-hour shift. Support will continue as needed.

The Commercial Inventory clerk should be Internet and computer-savvy and feel comfortable working independently.


They will assist with:

  • Looking up the current retail value of commercial donation items on the internet and using the set Habitat Snohomish Store pricing guide to assign the appropriate store sale price.
  • Adding new inventory into our point-of-sale system.
  • Tagging each item before it’s taken to the sales floor.


You can immediately register to become a Habitat Snohomish volunteer at https://habitatsnohomish.volunteermatters.org. A background check is required. Once approved, you can sign up for an orientation. Once orientation is completed, you will be ready to start volunteering!

How to Apply

The first step to volunteering is to complete an online registration, which you can sign up for at https://habitatsnohomish.volunteermatters.org: click on "Register Now", complete the online releases, and provide your personal information needed to set up your account.  After you complete your registration, it takes about 1-2 business days for us to complete a background check and approve you. You will then see the project catalog where you can sign up for volunteer shifts. 

We ask that you attend one of our orientations before you sign up for a shift. We offer an orientation date at each of our stores. Please sign up for an orientation here. This helps us share more about Habitat Snohomish and explain the purpose behind your involvement and what our mission is.
