Description
Help interview and select the Chicago Scholars Class of 2029! As a volunteer, you'll be joining us to help interview and get to know the student applicants for our next class of Scholars. Paired with another volunteer interviewer or Chicago Scholars staff member, you'll be given pre-written questions focusing on the student's leadership qualities, extracurricular interests, and college and career ambitions, and will conduct short interviews with multiple students over the course of your time volunteering.
From April 8th through the 18th, we have several days of both virtual and in-person volunteer opportunities available, with the virtual opportunities taking place over Zoom and the in-person opportunities taking place at various locations in the Loop, the South Loop, and the West Loop. The specific dates and times are as follows:
Virtual Opportunities:
April 8th - 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
April 9th - 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
April 10th - 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
April 13th - 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
In-person Opportunities:
April 15th - 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., 4510 S. Michigan Avenue
April 16th - 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. - Various Locations
April 17th - 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. - Various Locations
April 18th - 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. - Various Locations
