Love Soccer? Share love of game with underserved kids in Brooklyn!

Seeking anyone who loves soccer or helping youth through fun fitness activities.

Join other volunteer coaches to build teams for a Crown Heights soccer league, or simply help us bring joy to children through soccer. All levels of experience welcome. No soccer coaching experience needed, just love of the game.

We have been offering free or low-cost soccer for 14 years on this field and just want to get as many low-income in need childrne on the field as possible.

We ask volunteers to commit to at least two sessions.

We are looking for now:

• Anyone willing to lead and/or join other volunteers to coach kids ages 3+ at Hamilton Metz Field.

Starting April 6:

Saturdays 1-3 pm (possibly 4 pm)

Sundays 4-6 pm (possibly 7 pm)

Open field is Saturday, April 6 and possibly April 7, if coaches volunteer

Season begins: April 6, 2024

if you can't play soccer or just want to help, we can use folks who can take attendance, distribute uniforms, help with publicity and social media outreach, bring snacks or organize snacks (only fresh fruit and water allowed - we're growing healthy kids!)

PLUS - We are fundraising so we can offer free soccer and soccer uniform scholarships. If you are in a company and can donate anything and your company can match it, that would be awesome. We will publicize that.

Also, if you want to create pick-up adult games to support us during our field times - let us know. Can be as low as $5 a player.

Teen volunteers: This can be community service and we are happy to provide letters proving hours dedicated. We do require a $20 administration fee, but you get a shirt!!!!
