Description

Be a Sitter for a Future Assistance Dog!

Do you want to cuddle with a life changing dog?

Sitters host dogs in their homes for 6 or less days at a time to allow their Raisers to have breaks while the dogs grow up and get trained in. Dogs are typically between 8 weeks and 2.5 years of age.

Can Do Canines covers the costs of the dog food, vet visits, and monthly preventatives!

Volunteers in this program should live near the Twin Cities area or Eau Claire, WI to pick up and drop off dogs.

No experience is needed to work with our puppies. We’re with you every step of the way!

By helping as a Sitter for a future assistance dog, you are enhancing the quality of life for people with disabilities. These dogs will grow up to bring their people more freedom, independence and peace of mind.
