About Us:

The Sharing Network is dedicated to combating loneliness among low-income, homebound, and other seniors in Brooklyn, NY. We bring them together through phone-based activity and conversation groups, fostering joyful connections and creating a sense of community.

Volunteer Role:

We are seeking a bilingual volunteer to make reminder calls to our members in Spanish. Your task will be to remind them about their upcoming group meetings, which play a big role in enhancing their social well-being. The calls can be short, taking only about 15 minutes to complete them all.

Requirements:

• Fluency in both Spanish and English
• Access to a phone and a reliable internet connection
• Availability on Wednesdays and Thursdays between 4-7 PM ET
