Position: 2024 IRCO Gala Event Volunteer

Program Area: Our annual IRCO Gala is our largest yearly fundraising event to raise money to support all of our different IRCO programming. This year’s Celebrate 2024: IRCO Gala will be filled with delicious food, cultural performances, remarks from community leaders, and updates on all the incredible things your support has enabled in the last year.

Location: The Redd, 831 SE Salmon St, Portland, OR 97214.

Schedule: Thursday May 30, 2024. We are looking to fill a number of different event positions, with different shifts between the hours of 11:30am- 10:30pm. 

Position Summary: We are looking to fill a number of different volunteer event role positions for this role. Please see the available shifts and positions below.

• Set-Up Volunteer (11:30am- 3:00pm): Help with setting up the following before the Gala begins: Glisan landing display booth, raffle sale booth, performer feature area, auction display, teleprompter, table centerpieces, signage, registration booths.
• Raffle Sales Volunteer (4:45pm-6:30pm): Work in pairs with another volunteer- one talking, one recording the sale, write bid numbers on back of raffle ticket w/black sharpie, at 6:30, bring all tickets to Marquam clerk table, letting Misty know of the # of unsold tickets, give sales sheets to check-out/data entry.
• Event Clean-Up Volunteer (8:30pm-10:30pm): Assist in taking out trash, compost, recycling in green room, collect centerpieces that weren't taken, take down event materials, collect any signs outside.

Qualifications: 

• Must be 18 years or older
• Registration volunteers must attend a pre-event virtual training at 1pm on 5/14.

Time Commitment: One day event.
