Description
Volunteers are one of our most important assets. Hospice relies on volunteers to help with administrative work and provide end-of-life support for each patient and family. Our Volunteers are trained in hospice care, grief and loss, spirituality, communication skills and care and comfort. Direct patient care volunteers provide visits, phone calls, bereavement services, companionship and memory sharing. Office volunteers may assist with typing, filing, mailings and other office duties.
