Remote volunteer role models needed to work with Chicago students this school year

Deliver the power of education to a Chicagoland student today! Become a tutor, mentor and role model! Become a weekly volunteer tutor with Tutoring Chicago and work one-to-one with a 1st-10th grade student from the comfort of your own home. Volunteer tutors provide academic support and serve as a role model and mentor to students from across the city. Weekly tutoring sessions focus on a variety of academic subjects, social-emotional learning, mentorship and the importance of accountability. No prior teaching experience or special skills are required, orientation, training agendas, tools and resources are provided. All tutoring will take place online through the Zoom platform. Digital tutoring sessions are held Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings from 6-7:30PM (CST). Tutors select which day, program and grade level is best for them.
