Event Volunteer: The Daring Gala - April 27, 2024

Emceed by Anusha Roy of Denver's 9NEWS, The Daring Gala is Daring Girls’ premier annual event, attracting philanthropists throughout the Denver metropolitan area and capturing the attention of our global community. The event will take place in person on April 27, 2024, in Denver at the Posner Center for International Development. The event will feature an inspiring evening showcasing programmatic impact, as well as food, drink, silent and live auction items, and the opportunity to help support our mentorship programs that equip secondary school girls in Tanzania with knowledge and tools to reach their full potential.

We're looking for volunteers to help with:

Event Setup (2:30-5:00 PM) = move furniture, tables for the event; help decorate the room and set up the silent auction.

Event Support Shift 1 (5:30-8:00 PM) = staff event check-in table, staff the silent auction rooms to support bidders, help run audio/visual technology, general event support as needed.

Event Support Shift 2 (7:30-10:00 pm) = help record bidder numbers for the live giving moment, act as a runner to help guests claim winning silent auction bids, help with event clean-up and general event support as needed.

Volunteers are thanked with a free ticket to attend and enjoy The Daring Girls Gala when not working their volunteer shift.
