About World Inspiring Network:

World Inspiring Network is a nonprofit organization committed to ending poverty through quality education, youth empowerment, and climate action in Ghana. Founded in 2016 by Maxwell Odonkor, our organization has experienced significant growth, thanks to the dedication of our team and the support of our global network of volunteers. We believe in the power of education, and our holistic programs aim to provide educational resources, train teachers and students, and raise community awareness about the importance of quality education for long-term impact. Additionally, we address climate change through our Climate Action initiative and tackle youth unemployment through our Youth Drive initiative. Our commitment to gender equality is reflected in our She Can project, which focuses on women's empowerment in rural areas of Ghana.

Position Overview:

World Inspiring Network is seeking a dedicated Volunteer Grant Proposal Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our mission by researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals to secure funding for our various programs and initiatives. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects and make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and communities in Ghana.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research on potential grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and other funding sources aligned with our mission and objectives.
• Draft compelling and well-organized grant proposals, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals, program objectives, and the requirements of each funding opportunity.
• Work closely with the World Inspiring Network team to gather relevant information, statistics, and insights to strengthen grant proposals.
• Manage the end-to-end process of grant proposal submission, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of all required documentation.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with potential funders, partners, and stakeholders to enhance collaboration and support for World Inspiring Network's initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in grant proposal writing or a related field.
• Excellent research and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
• Passion for the mission and values of World Inspiring Network.
• Familiarity with nonprofit organizations, education, youth empowerment, and climate action is a plus.
