Volunteer Fundraising Assistant

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced fundraiser to join our passionate team!

Our fundraiser works in an office located on campus. He will report to the fundraising coordinator, he will be working closely with members from all the departments in order to carry out a fundraising strategy that effectively promotes KSV's mission.

Responsibilities:

● Identify and cultivate relationships with individual donors, corporations, and foundations interested in supporting our cause.

● Effectively communicate our organization's mission, impact, and funding needs to potential donors through various channels, including meetings, presentations, and written materials.

● Research and identify new fundraising opportunities, including grants, corporate sponsorships, fundraising events.

● Develop and implement fundraising strategies and campaigns to achieve our financial goals, in collaboration with the management team.

● Write compelling grant proposals, sponsorship packages, and fundraising appeals to solicit support from donors.

● Plan and execute fundraising events, leveraging the support of volunteers and partners, to engage our community and raise funds.

● Maintain strong relationships with existing donors and ensure they receive appropriate recognition.

Requirements:

● Minimum commitment of 1 year.

● Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to inspire and engage diverse stakeholders.

● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively. Passion for KSV's mission and values, with a genuine interest in making a positive impact in the lives of underprivileged children through academic and performing arts education.

● Knowledge of Indian philanthropic landscape and cultural sensitivities is an advantage.

● Fluency in English required; proficiency in Kannada, Hindi, or other local languages is a plus.

Food and Accomodation

Volunteers live at the Volunteer Area based on campus. We offer eco-friendly accommodation, and 3 vegetarian meals per day.
