Description

Teaching Programs In Africa (Volunteer)

We need the help of kind-hearted Interns or volunteers around the world who can make a difference in Africa to teach in our public schools.

Are you seeking any internship or volunteer opportunities to help increase access to education in communities around the world?

Seeds Of Change Teaching projects enable international Interns or volunteers to work alongside local teachers in Ghana or Cameroon with the objective of promoting greater literacy, supporting opportunities for primary and secondary education, building vocational skills and enhancing career prospects among students.

Teachers and educators can volunteer to teach abroad in Africa. As a volunteer teacher abroad, you may have the opportunity to teach independently, provide support to local teachers, or team up with other international volunteers to take lessons in a range of classroom settings, including schools, tutoring programs, community centers, special needs facilities and childcare centers.

Access to education and the opportunity to study are highly valued in the communities we work with. Whether you’re a volunteer teaching abroad, or supporting the instruction of other subjects or extracurricular activities, the students are eager to learn and participate.

The influence that international teaching volunteers have on the communities goes beyond the classroom. Crossing boundaries to work side-by-side with students and teachers from different cultures fosters a two-way exchange, building cross-cultural understanding and global awareness.

OUR ACCOMMODATION , MEALS AND AMENITIES

In both Ghana and Cameroon Volunteers are accommodated in four difference volunteer homes in rural and Urban areas.Volunteers choose to share or not to share a room with others. 4G internet services available.we recommend volunteers to bring their own towel and toiletries. The accommodation is safe and secure with the houses located in a safe area in town near the community where volunteers work. Living is comfortable and the volunteer houses have electricity and running water with Western toilets.

our volunteers receive three meals per day (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and meals served in the volunteer house are typically Western-style. Breakfast consists of self-serve tea, coffee, toast and cereal. At breakfast time, volunteers are also provided with food for making a sandwich as a packed lunch for their project, this is particularly important for Teaching volunteers to note, as your day usually ends after lunch.
