Fundraising/Grant Writing Board Member

We are seeking a new Board Member with fundraising and grant writing expertise. Duties include researching fundraising opportunities (including grants), doing fundraising outreach, bringing the Executive + Artistic Director into the fundraising conversations when appropriate, maintaining and meeting grant deadlines, drafting letters of intent, and writing and submitting grants. Knowledge about / interest in healing trauma will make for the best fit.

This position would report to our Board President. Our Executive + Artistic Director would oversee and train on the grant-writing process. However, prior experience with grant writing is highly preferred.

Our Board meets (virtually always) once a month, for an hour and a half. This position should be filled by someone who is well organized, comfortable being in a leadership position, and passionate about our mission.
