Volunteers Help in the Following Ways:
Time: 12:30am - 2:30 pm; shifts are available Tuesday - Saturday
Commitment: Ongoing volunteers are Necessary
Volunteers will attend an orientation and receive training on their first day of service.
This opportunity is appropriate for individuals and groups of up to 15 people. SVdP welcomes students, ages 14 and older, to complete service hours in Downtown Oakland. Youth under the age of 18 will need a waiver of liability signed by a parent/guardian. Youth under the age of 16 will need an adult (someone who is 18 years or older) to accompany them the entire day of service. We love to have families volunteer together! We also accommodate small groups of students for high school service days.
