Please write to us and tell us your full name, phone #, address, your neighborhood name, any volunteer experience, why you would like to work with teens. Are you available to meet on Saturdays from 1-4 p.m. during April & May to help plan and develop our program - Training Youth to Become a Barista? [you do not need to have any experience working in a coffee shop] It will be good to have people skills, communication skills, patience. You may be asked to complete tasks like making phone calls, researching something online, making a connection with a resource, emailing resources, finding donations, and more. Each volunteer will let us know what they are comfortable doing.

Then beginning when school gets out in June, additional Adult Volunteers will be asked to work in the outdoor cafe along with teens to help them build good people skills, communication skills, patience, and cafe work skills. Adults and teens will be provided cafe experience training by a professional.
