Volunteer: Content Media/Marketing

Public Invention a US 501c3 Public Charity, empowers inventors to collaborate and design prototypes that can help others in various communities in need of medical or humanitarian equipment.

We are seeking 3 volunteers. The commitment is 6 hours per week for 6 months. The volunteer will be involved in creating the marketing and communicating in social media a lot of High Tech Sophisticated Medical, Engineering STEAM nerd-friendly content, this is a great opportunity to design a social media strategy, design content, make weekly posts, and generally attempt to help us reach others interested in volunteer and mentor our efforts, grow the Public Inventionsocial media presence.

• Current college student or recent graduate (previous digital/paid digital experience is a plus)
• organization and time management skills
• Self-starter with a proactive mindset
• Create a social media content calendar
• Pitch story ideas to broadcast and increase audience in YouTube.
• Utilize social media and develop strategies for broadcasting events.
• Take on assignments as needed.
